Simplifying Spaces Professional Organizing - Professional Organizing
When we simplify we can help save our planet and we can also help other people.  By thoughtfully letting go of our unwanted, unneeded and unused items we can make a big difference in the lives of others.  By recycling wherever possible we are also making a contribution toward reducing our footprint.

As part of my service I will take your donated items to one of the below locations or the charity of your choice.   In most cases your donation is tax deductible.

Consider donating your used children clothing and toys to Treehouse, a nonprofit group helping foster kids get what they need.

Friends of the Seattle Public Library will accept your donations of books, compact discs, videocassettes, DVD's, sheet music, records, computer software, audio cassettes and framed or unframed art that is clean and in good condition.  Most likely these items will be sold at the twice yearly book sales to raise much needed funds for the Seattle Public Library.
I am happy to take your used jewelery to Danaca Designs.  They are a drop off site for The Seattle Metals Guild recycling program.  They will clean and repair the jewelry to give to local homeless and battered women shelters.

Where ever possible I try to find meaningful new homes for your possessions.  I call local theater companies to see if they are interested in some of your items for their sets or costuming.   I donate your books to the library.  I donate your unwanted business clothes to Dress for Success.  I also donate frequently to Goodwill.
