Consider donating your used clothing and toys to Treehouse, a nonprofit group helping foster kids get what they need. 
I am happy to take your used jewelery to Danaca Designs.  They are a drop off site for The Seattle Metals Guild recycling program.  They will clean and repair the jewelry to give to local homeless and battered women shelters.
